Food for Thought

Hi Skyler,

I wanted to get you thinking about an issue that is really important to me. It's the issue of what your printed word says about you. For example, when I look at a piece of writing, I can tell a lot about a person (such as their age and education level). When you graduate, I want people to look at your printed word and think "This is a properly educated young person."

I'll show you what I mean. On the blog, you posted: "listen to the story more today its going great thanks alot Mr.Pierce"

Compare that with: "I listened to the story more today. It's going great. Thanks a lot, Mr.Pierce."

Please don't misunderstand, this isn't a judgement of you. You are a very kind hearted person and even your blog post shows that. I just want the level of your writing to reflect your actual maturity. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
